Welcome to Astrology Philippines! 🌟

Established in 2010 by astrologer Resti Santiago, our community is a dedicated network for Filipinos to explore the wisdom of the stars. Whether you are a seasoned practitioner or just starting your journey, you are welcome here—no prior knowledge is required!

What we offer:

  • Talatoks: Join our weekly podcast every Wednesday from 7:30 - 9:00 pm via FB/FilipinoAstrologer.

  • Gatherings: We host relaxed, friendly get-togethers at local restaurants or coffee shops. These sessions are filled with learning, laughter, and great conversation.

  • The Blog: A space for our members to share essays and stay updated on the latest astrology events.

 - topic to be discussed (e.g. forecast for the year ahead, political forecast, career forecast, romance or love compatibility, basic information about astrology, history of astrology in the Philippines, using astrology as a tool to become more self-aware or for personal growth, using astrology in business decision making, etc.)

 - if for broadcast (TV, radio, Youtube, podcast, Facebook Live, etc.): name of show, target appearance date and time, length of segment or interview, calltime, how long the astrologer is expected to be at the venue, etc.)

Romy Solina and his BALATIK diorama A few weeks ago, “Resti” Santiago, an astrologer friend, sent me a book entitled “BALATIK.” It is a book written by a University of the Philippines professor Dante L. Ambrosio, and subtitled “Etnoastronomiya, Kalangitan sa Kabihasnang Pilipino” and obviously in the Tagalog (Filipino) language. Although I was born in Manila and an a Tagalog, I found it rather a problem reading the contents of the book. Still, I must go over it since I must be knowledgeable in my own native language. On the other hand, the author must have a doctorate, having gone through the baccalaureate and master degrees to be able to write this treatise in the university as I also have gone through. The Balatik book concerns the methods used by the natives of the Philippines using the signs in the skies in order to determine certain seasons for their activities, such as fishing, sailing, hunting, planting, harvesting, and so on. ...
